Megan Denise Fox is an American actress and model, born on May 16, 1986, in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.

Her mother is Darlene Tonachio, which split with her birth father and remarried. She was raised in a strict household maintained by her mother and stepfather.

At the age of five, Megan began taking singing and dancing lessons, which continued when she and her family moved to St. Petersburg, Florida, when she was 10.

At the age of 13, she also added modeling classes to her repertoire. In 1999, Fox won multiple awards at the American Modeling and Talent Convention.

This success convinced her to drop out of high school and move to sunny Los Angeles, California!

Megan had been staying at the Oakwood, a dorm-like building, where many child actors stay. She had mentioned during interviews that Shia LeBeouf, Hilary Duff, and Frankie Muniz had also lived there while she stayed.

At the age of 16, our Megan landed her first big break when she was cast as a bratty heiress in the 2001 Olsen twins comedy film, Holiday in the Sun. The film, which had a large cult fanbase, but went straight to DVD.

Over the next few years, Fox continued to appear in guest-spot television roles, and then finally her big break in 2007 with Transformers, along side Shia LeBeouf.
